Solomon's Court
Wisdom in the Bible has very little to do with college degrees or graduating with honors.  From a biblical perspective wisdom is the ability to live skillfully.  A wise person lives a life marked by passionate obedience to God, devotion to family, integrity in the workplace, and concern for others.  Wisdom permeates every layer of our existence from handling our money to raising our children to driving our cars.

Living well, living skillfully, does not come to us naturally.  We all need mentors, role models, teachers to help us develop wisdom.  In the pages of scripture, some of the wisest minds of the ages point us in the right direction.  We learn from their words and from their example.  Some of the best instruction comes from those who have walked down the wrong path, and have come back to warn us about the dangers.

The only prerequisite for entrance into the Bible's School of Wisdom is a humble, teachable spirit.

How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver!
Proverbs 16:16

The purpose of Solomon's Court is not only the acquisition of wisdom but also to create, establish and maintain spirit filled men and young men of God that are pillars of the vision for this church. Additionally, Solomon's Court will play an active role, via mentoring-type activities, in developing the spiritual, intellectual and social being of young males for the purpose of producing highly dynamic and influential leaders. "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17.

Sports (Basketball, Baseball, Football)
